As a support parish to our neighboring Jewish faith community of
Temple Sinai, St. Joseph’s provides meals and hosts for homeless families who are provided hospitality and overnight accommodations at the Temple. You can prepare a meal, according to a menu provided by the program, or you can spend an evening serving the meal and being present to the families in residence. This happens in four one-week intervals throughout the year: For information about hosting and required training, contact Sharon Burke at: 585-671-6446. For information about providing a meal, contact Patty Vermilion at: 585-670-0017.
